Instructor & Renter Policies

Etiquette

❏  Respect the quiet, positive, and professional atmosphere of The Space. Bring noise levels down if you feel them increasing.

❏  Wear appropriate fitness clothing and ensure clients are wearing appropriate fitness clothing while in a session. Refrain from using equipment in clothing adorned with glitter, zippers, chains, buttons or anything that could damage the equipment. Indoor shoes only to teach. Absolutely no shoes of any kind on the equipment at anytime.

❏  Be responsible for the safety and behavior of your client while they are present in The Space.

❏ No food or beverages in the teaching area/on the equipment at anytime.

❏  No outside shoes in The Space or on any of the equipment.

❏ As this is a community space, please reset equipment to default and clean with the provided cleaning products after each use.

❏ The Space, LLC is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

❏ No dogs/pets permitted at any time. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) and Therapy Dogs (Volunteer Dogs) are also not permitted. The only animals allowed are registered service animals.

Hours

❏  Studio: 6am-9:30pm seven days a week. Available on all major holidays.

❏  Office: Mon-Fri 7am-8pm, Sat & Sun 9am-4pm

Appointments

❏  Sessions may be booked on the quarter hour ex: 8:00am, 8:15am, 8:30am, 8:45am.

❏  Both Renter and Client must be up-to-date with waivers and compliance of policies before the start of each session.

Payment

❏  Payment for sessions will automatically be charged weekly on Mondays.

Example: Sunday June 1st - Saturday June 7th will be charged on Monday June 9th

❏  Payment is accepted via credit/debit card. The Space, LLC does not keep or store cash in their facilities.

❏  All sales final. No refunds.

Cancellations

❏ 23 hour cancellation policy for all sessions booked.

❏ Any session cancelled within less than 23 hours of the booking will be charged in full.

❏ All cancellations made prior to 23 hours before the booked session will not be charged.

❏ Sessions may be rescheduled during the same business day for no additional charge, space permitting.

Self Practice and Trading with fellow CPIs

❏ Free trading sessions with fellow active renters (have rented for a regular paid session within the same week) is permitted when there is room in the studio. Please schedule these sessions via email at info@thespacepilates.com. All sessions are subject to cancellation due to priority of paid rental sessions.

❏  Free self practice is permitted during office hours (see above) for active renters. Please schedule these sessions via email at info@thespacepilates.com. All sessions are subject to cancellation due to priority of paid rental sessions. Self practice for renters who are not active within the same week will be charged for self practice as if it is a regular paid rental session. Self practice of any time frame without confirmation from The Space will be charged as a private session accordingly.

❏  Be mindful of fellow instructors and their clients and ensure the paying instructor is able to use any equipment and props they may need during their session with their clients.

Photography/Videography

❏ Photos and videos of you or your clients at the studio are permitted. Absolutely no other people in the background. Absolutely no sound, even if you are the only teacher in the studio. Failure to comply will result in the restriction of any photo or video use without warning.

❏  “Photoshoots” and “video shoots”, however casual, must be scheduled and confirmed via email with The Space. Requests for privacy in the studio during shoots are available for rent via email inquiry.

❏  The Space Community kindly requests that any photo taken in the studio is given acknowledgment to The Space.

The Space Client Referral Program

❏ To be a part of The Space referral program and receive clients through the studio, Instructors must provide information via the Referral Program Form in full to ensure clients and instructors are most appropriately matched. Instructors must already be actively renting at The Space at least once per week to be considered for referral clients.

❏  As this is a program offered through The Space Community, with the Instructor as priority, we ask that all referred clientele are trained at The Space Pilates studio location. This program works very hard to build your clientele, but the program cannot be maintained without your support for our community.

Perks and Discounts

❏ Recommend a Certified Pilates Instructor to The Space and receive a $90 credit to your account after they book and complete their first three Rental Sessions! To be considered, you must be mentioned in the initial inquiry.

❏ Recommend someone to The Space School and receive a $100 credit to your account after tuition is confirmed! To be considered, you must be mentioned in the initial inquiry.

❏  For any calendar week in which you book more than 10 sessions, private sessions are discounted to $27, Suite to $45, and Classroom to $49.50. *

❏  For any calendar week in which you book more than 20 sessions, private sessions are discounted to $25, Suite to $42, and Classroom to $46. *

❏  Discount for 4+ hours booked consecutively in the Classroom or Suite.

*All above prices, policies, and availability subject to change. Virtual Pod rentals count towards weekly session count, but are not directly discounted.

Group Class Rental Policies

❏  Absolutely no leaning on, or use of the glass walls of any kind. 

❏  Reformers are not to be flipped into the “storage” position or moved without written permission. The Space staff will accommodate for this as requested.

❏  Any use of the main floor, main floor props and apparatuses, etc. is not included and will be an additional charge.

* Any misuse or significant damage of rental space in regards to original booking purpose will result in a non-refundable fee.
